Smithfield and Isle of Wight County is a small town with lots of heart & so much to love - the ham that made Smithfield famous; the picturesque Main Street with shops you just can’t pass up; historic architecture from Colonial to Victorian gingerbread & from Federal to Gothic cottages and impressive array of mouth-watering restaurants, the gracious charm and Southern hospitality of its locals and much more.
Overview
For this project, Smithfield Isle of Wight Tourism worked with Louder Design to create a mobile first, ADA compliant, intuitive website that showcased uncompromising quality in all aspects of the visitor journey. It was imperative to deliver on every page, immersive aesthetic interactions with rich travel focused content, imagery & video. The award winning responsive website significantly increased Smithfield's market reach and penetration by providing visitors with an enhanced user experience. Our marketing team also developed a content strategy that specifically targeted a number of high yield keywords which continues to meaningfully raise the overall organic search ranking in both Google and Bing, thereby driving more quality traffic to the website generating increased overall conversions.

Our core focus was to transform Smithfield Isle of Wight Tourism's search engine optimization (SEO) strategy by implementing layouts & content that served as a guide for visitors throughout the entire conversion funnel.
